Benjamin Graindorge’s floating garden is fish tank ecology
Aditi Justa | Jun 25 2009

In collaboration with Duende Studio, a French designer Benjamin Graindorge, has created a unique water filtration system for aquariums. This filtration system is a distinctive way to maintain daily freshwater requirement of aquariums in a natural manner. The water filtration system uses a cushion of sand and plants in a tray that floats on the surface of a fish tank and uses fish waste more appropriately as a fertilizer.

It works by absorbing nitrate pollutants, leaving the water clean and hence solving the most monotonous chores of constantly changing the water. The Benjamin Graindorge floating garden will be showcased at Forum Diffusion in Paris today onwards. So the ones interested in buying this amazing miniature ecology know exactly where to go.
