BMW SIMPLE trike concept for those eco-riders who love simplicity
Desh | Oct 12 2009

Sans any of complexities, BMW loves to keep its eco-concepts as simple as they could be. Like its previous entry, the automaker follows the same principle while offering the concept-trike called SIMPLE or Sustainable and Innovative Mobility Product for Low Energy consumption. Currently, the vehicle with 118 miles per gallon fuel efficiency is being exhibited in the BMW Museum in Munich. If you can’t afford to be there, there’s a video after the jump.

The trike has an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. It weighs around 992 pounds only and has an impressive drag coefficient of 0.18. Ensuring better controlling, it decelerates from zero to sixty in under ten seconds. BMW doesn’t intend to make it available anytime soon, so keep waiting.
