The world’s cheapest car, Tata Nano, might also become the world’s cheapest hybrid. Tata chairman Ratan Tata has confirmed via the South Korean Maeil Business Newspaper that they have plans to develop a hybrid version of the Tata Nano. Ratan Tata, the chairman of Tata Motors, the biggest vehicle producer in India, said that the demand for the low-priced goods will be more than high-end goods in India. He also believes that this low-price revolution would continue to spread across the world. For now, there is no detailed info about the hybrid system Tata is developing, but we shouldn’t be expecting a full hybrid system here. Anyway, the basic model of Nano costs INR 100,000 ($2,155) and was first delivered in India in July this year.

Hybrid cars are the best cars to save your self money i have heard there is a down side to these cars when the environment is concerned as when taking into concideration the fossil fuels used to power the electric powered cars the co2 emissions are around double the amount that a diesel car would create. Is there anymore negatives to this car?
