E-Fuel 100: Fuel from leftover beer!
Desh | Feb 11 2009

The Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is making high-quality ethanol fuel from leftover beer yeast at its brewery. E-Fuel Corporation also deserves accolade for coming out with this novel concept. We might see gallons of fuel oozing out of E-Fuel 100 or the MicroFueler later this year. It’s undeniably a great method to make organic waste usable. It can produce ethanol for less than $1 a gallon depending upon the cost of electricity and water. So, you might see E-Fuel micro refineries being espoused as the major fuel provider across the nation. Positively, it would decrease our dependence on the traditional resources of energy.

Another good reason to enjoy their beer! It’s pretty tasty too.

Fuel made from beer! This is definitely a good news for drunkards and car lovers just like me!
