Hydro Engineering Inc has come up with a pioneering technology that makes washing turf equipment a green and exciting experience. The company’s patented technology, the turf equipment wash rack system make use of electric power and water to clean turf equipments and the wash water is collected to be recycled and reused to clean other equipments. This innovative green technology acts in accordance with the Clean Water Act.
The turf equipment wash rack system works by driving the equipment onto the Hydropad wash rack, where the washing process begins. The water used for cleaning along with debris goes through the impermeable top of the Hydropad wash rack into the side gutters, where it is stored. The gutter collection point has a screen that collects nearly all the grass before the filtration process. At the end of the gutter is a pump that pumps the collected water to the Hydrokleen water recycling system where solids, hydrocarbons, metals and organics are removed. Then the Hydroblaster pressure washer gets the cleaned and processed water, which can be again brought into use for washing purpose.
