The John Hope Gateway, RBGE’s new biodiversity and information center, has now opened its doors. The new building is set to be an example of green construction and sustainability. The 15.7m visitor center is a descendant of the famous 18th century teacher and botanist, Professor John Hope, after whom the building has been christened. At the new center, visitors can discover the world of plants and the scientific work of the Botanics through a range of interactive experiences and activities.

Thanks, Sandra Donnelly [RBGE]
