What comes to your mind when you think of a sports car? You certainly think of enormous speed, and a muscular metallic body with exotic looks. But, here is a super car you would have never thought of or heard of. Sada-Kenbi brings to you a sports car made from wood. The wood crafters wanted to show the world that there is simply nothing that cannot be crafted from wood, and this idea led to the wooden sports car.
Dubbed the Maniwa, this stunning Japanese sports car reaches a top speed of 80 km/h. The handcrafted beauty incorporates features like a motorcycle-like handlebar steering system, gull wing doors and a stereo to offer you a musical journey. Japan permits you to drive the unusual sports car that has a wooden seat in the front for one driver and has a wood bench behind for up to two passengers. To excite little kids, the designers have also come up with a pedal-powered version. You could also enjoy a green ride on this wooden beauty by paying just $44,000.
