How do you feel about your old cellphone when you see its most up-to-date model hitting the shelves? Well, I feel like throwing the former into the trash bin. Still, a second thought – it may lead to toxic trash – forces me to drop the idea. Anyhow, designers Shao Wei Huang, Chia-yi Cho, Yu Pei Kuo and Chung Kai Chiang have come up with a concept phone dubbed “The Label With Green” for those who are facing the same thing.
The concept phone will feature separate ECO-Green Electronic Labels for its various components (display, speaker, keypad, camera and solar battery). Just stick these solar paper labels onto the back pane and you’ll see the desired function switched on. So very soon, you won’t be needing any upgrades anymore since these solar stickers will upgrade your mobile phones automatically.
