Vintage Ford 1934 3-Window Coupe gets 400-hp EcoBoost motor
Desh | Oct 29 2009

At this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, the Driving Green initiative will welcome a strange entry, i.e. Ford’s 1934 3-Window Coupe puffed up by Detroit Street Rods with a twin-turbo V6. Dubbed as EcoBoost, the highly efficient motor produces 400-hp of energy and 400 ft.-lb. of torque. Well, it is for the very first time that Ford has applied its novel technology to any of its vehicles.

From the Press Release:

The EcoBoost family of engines uses turbocharging and direct injection technology to deliver up to 20 percent better fuel economy, and it ends up to 15 percent fewer CO2 emissions versus larger-displacement engines.
